Entrepreneurial Filipinos Overseas Rally for Noynoy’s Presidency

We are Filipinos who live and earn our living outside the Philippines. We are small business owners, self-employed professionals and technicians, non-profit managers and service providers, and entrepreneurial-spirited immigrants. A number of us left the homeland for a greener pasture while some others did it because they have choices and options, but our commonality is our genuine concerns and earnest care (may tunay na malasakit) of the plight and fate of the Filipino people and their homeland. Considering the challenging times in our homeland, we all want to make a difference. We view the 2010 presidential election as another turning point in our nation’s history; and that Noynoy Aquino’s presidency can make a difference together with the Filipino people including us who are based overseas.

What we work and stand for:

We are strong believers, advocates and practitioners of Good Business Sense (GBS) and Good Political Sense (GPS). We fully comprehend that our nation urgently needs reforms and transformations. But what kind of reforms and major transformations do we need? What do we want to change for the better? When do we start? How do we do it? Why? These are some of the lingering questions in every concerned Filipinos mind?

Good Business Sense is not “business as usual” in the Philippines. We abhor and detest the prevailing and widespread “business as usual” (e.g. using the government & position for personal economic gains – such as graft and corruption, lagayan, at padulas, commissions) that pushes our country backward and distorts sustainable growth and progress.

Good Political Sense is not traditional politics or trapo and dirty politics (e.g political dynasty, nepotism, Kamag-anakan Inc, patronage system, favoritism, palakasan, vote-buying, dagdag-bawas, guns-goons- gold). We abhor and reject traditional politics and its manifestations.

What is to be done:

Our Inang Bayan needs the support of Filipinos overseas. The coming presidential election in 2010 is seen by many as a major turning point in our nation’s history. The Filipino people’s call is Tama Na, Sobra Na, Baguhin Na. The EforNoyP heartily and vigorously support our Filipino people’s call.

• We call all on our kababayan, compatriots and Filipinos overseas to support the election of Sen. Noynoy Aquino as our next president. • We call on our Filipino people to advocate and demand for Good Business Sense and Good Political Sense platform to all aspirants for elected government positions. • We call on all entrepreneurial Filipinos overseas and entrepreneurial-spirited immigrants to rally for Noynoy Aquino’s Presidency (before and during election in 2010 and beyond).
